School has been crazy (for me, other people have definitely got things together in comparison to myself), but amidst the madness it has been a pretty awesome summer so far.
We've had a couple graduations including my beautiful cousin Vianca and Lilly's graduation from preschool. Slumber parties with lilly; pretty much every friday night consisting of movies, peidcures and "facials" while I do paper work. We've had some fun celebrations for my dad and BIL paul's b-days, and the 4th and 24th. There has been a lot of hanging out with family and by far the biggest event has been the birth of my little niece Emilia Summer!!! She is such a doll, I can't get enough of her. Matt and I also "celebrated" four years of being together on the 24th(aka just another reason to let each other spend money on new music)!
Other than that I've just been slaving away at school and work. My last day of clinic is actually this friday, wohoo!!!!!!!!! BUT (yes there is a but) I decided to participate in a stuttering clinic t the U that is going to take up two weeks of my three week summer break. Yes, I'm feeling a little annoyed at myself at the moment, however I know it will be a really great experience. It's one of only two clinics like it in the U.S. so the clients are pretty diverse. There are only 7 students doing the clinic, and I know I won't ever get this type of experience again. So here's to the next few weeks until school starts again on August 23!
Hope everyone else is enjoying their summer!!!
